Dear colleague, welcome on this website about syntax and versification in classical Hebrew poetry. My actual research lies in these fields and I like to share the results. After publishing an introduction in classical Hebrew versification (2015) and a monography on the combination of text-syntactic and prosodic research in the study of Biblical poetry (2017), a third book is planned showing the interaction of text-syntactic and strophic structures in detail, analyzing psalms and other Biblical poetry. The preliminary results will be published here. Most of my recent publications are in Dutch - just to get a move on and to put my thoughts on paper. You will find the bibliographical details here and there, together with more and more pdfs of the texts themselves. Parts of these publications will be translated and published on this website first. The website also has a full bibliography, with publications in other fields of Old Testament research, a page about the periodical Schrift, a professional magazine on Biblical books, themes, and characters (in Dutch), and a page about my other professional activities (in Dutch).
